How accurate is the analysis?

The analysis uses third-party foundation-model APIs to locate and summarize text in the document you provide. It can omit, misread, or invent details, especially when a PDF is incomplete or difficult to scan. Verify every important statement in the original policy and confirm disputed coverage questions with the carrier or a licensed professional.

How is my data handled?

Accepted Answer

Uploads and extracted analysis are stored while we provide the service. Relevant content may be processed by Anthropic Claude and, only when Truscott's data-governance controls permit it, Google Gemini. Provider-side retention is governed by their commercial API terms; Truscott does not promise zero retention. Unclaimed anonymous previews become eligible for scheduled deletion after seven days, while documents claimed into an account follow our account and legal retention practices. Processing time varies with document length, scan quality, provider availability, and demand. The result is an informational starting point -- not legal advice or a substitute for the policy's exact terms or the carrier's determination.

What if my PDF is poor quality or a scan?

The service attempts text extraction and OCR, but poor scans, handwriting, unusual layouts, and missing pages can produce incomplete or incorrect results. Check the source PDF yourself; do not assume every unreadable section will be identified automatically.
